Last night, Feb. 4, Jerry was one of guests to appear on 'Live Toronto', a show broadcast weekdays between 6:00PM and 8:00PM by 102.1 the EDGE. He dropped by for a short interview during which several interesting issues such as the recording of 'Boggy Depot', Jerry's future plans/touring, etc. were brought up. I hope to have a transcript of the interview ready by, say Saturday or Sunday, so if you want to know more check back soon.

Well, here's a short summary of the most essential and, more or less, official news floating around Jerry Cantrell and his forthcoming album, 'Boggy Depot':

The date for the album's release has been pushed back three times during the last couple of weeks. February 24 slowly developed into March 24 which, before long, turned into April 7, or at least that is the latest word from Columbia, the record company behind Jerry's solo project.

The album, 'Boggy Depot', will contain twelve songs (click here for a list), all written by Jerry himself, and will feature performances from Les Claypool (Primus; bass), Rex Brown (Pantera; bass), Norwood Fisher (Fishbone; bass), Mike Inez; (Alice In Chains; bass); Angelo Moore (Fishbone; horns) and Sean Kinney (Alice In Chains; drums).

Produced by Jerry Cantrell and Toby Wright, 'Boggy Depot', was recorded at Studio D and The Plant in Sausalito, California and Paradise Sound in Index, Washington.

Cut You In will be released as 'Depot's' first single.

A tour, beginning in mid-April is highly expected. No news about Jerry's live band available as of yet, although Sean Kinney will most probably be the guy you'll see behind the drums.

And finally, ALICE IN CHAINS HAVE NOT SPLIT UP! Go and tell everyone...
